Leveraging Self-Awareness to Deal with Difficult Situations

Claim Code: 1021KNTGPO

Overview

Difficult conversations are part of every workplace–yet what makes them hard isn’t just what we need to say, but how we show up when emotions and stakes are high. This session explores the science and practice of navigating challenging conversations with clarity, composure, and confidence. Through practical frameworks and self-awareness tools, participants will learn to manage emotional triggers, prepare with intention, and communicate in ways that build trust and connection–even when the topic is tough. By the end of the session, participants will be able to recognize emotional and social triggers that can derail productive dialogue, apply a simple, repeatable framework to structure difficult conversations, and identify one personal shift to improve confidence and connection in future conversations. The key takeaway: the most powerful change doesn’t come from the perfect words–it comes from showing up with presence, clarity, and care.
